Board-certified plastic surgeon William J. Dr. Hedden is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care and is exceptionally skilled and experienced in a wide range of plastic surgery procedures. Dr. Hedden graduated from the University of Florida with majors in sculpting and anatomy. He earned his medical doctorate from the University of South Florida College of Medicine before completing his general surgery residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport and his plastic surgery residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Hedden is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member several prestigious medical societies, including the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. R. Lee England, IV, M.D., is an experienced and caring surgeon with outstanding talent and superior surgical skills. Dr. England uses his training in the world's most up-to-date procedures and technologies to provide his patients with superior cosmetic results. A firm believer in the importance of patient education, Dr. England takes whatever time is necessary to thoroughly explain each procedure and answer all patient questions. Dr. England is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). Dr. England attended the University of Tennessee, where he graduated cum laude and earned three varsity letters as a member of the Tennessee Volunteers football team. He received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College, where he graduated cum laude, and completed an internship in surgery at the University of Kentucky. Dr. England continued his surgical training at Vanderbilt Medical Center and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During his time in private practice, Dr. England has successfully established surgical programs at several area hospitals, providing much-needed care for underserved areas. He is extensively experienced in the latest surgical and minimally-invasive procedures and is passionate about helping his patients reach their aesthetic goals with a variety of surgical and non-surgical options. Dr. Schaffer graduated from the University of Nebraska before earning his medical doctorate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He performed residencies at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
